        Afterschool, RECE

Hi all! My name is Meghan, and I have the honour to work as a RECE at Muskoka Lake Preschool. I consider myself a strong advocate for affordable, equitable childcare, and I work continuously to educate myself on current issues that affect children, families and educators alike. Recently, I completed my Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at George Brown College. My graduate thesis on nature-based education in urban environments has given me a unique perspective and drive to implement a more nature-focused philosophy in my teaching.

Hello, my name is Bryanna. I am the full time cook here at Muskoka Lakes Preschool.  So far I am absolutely loving my job here. I am a huge foody; cooking and baking have always been my passion. I have a tremendous amount of experience working in restaurants and I am a small business owner in Muskoka where I specialize in edible arrangements & baked goods. I love to be creative with our food here to make it a fun experience for the children and make sure we are eating complete balanced meals to fill our tummies and get our energy for the day! We talk about where our food comes from and enjoy trying new things. I cater to all specialized diets that our little friends may need & I always follow the Canada Food Guide to insure that every child here gets the nutrition they need. In my spare time you’ll find me outside enjoying nature or doing something crafty. I am truly honored and excited to be apart of the awesome MLP team and I look forward to my future spent here keeping us well fed and making friends!
