Our staff is educated and experienced in Early Childhood Education, and have been trained in child development and behaviour guidance for children up to 12 years old. ECE Staff are members in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. They use a team approach with a positive attitude and strive to provide high-quality care! Prior to being hired at MLP, they must provide an updated vulnerable sector check. Also, current CPR and First Aid certification is a requirement.

Hi, my name is Tashelle, and I am the Operations Manager at Muskoka Lakes Preschool! I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with a variety of experiences working in childcare centres, the school board, recreation centres, and managerial positions. My role consists of ensuring efficient admin operations of the centre while working alongside the Management Team and Board of Directors to best serve children and families! I relocated from Ottawa where I was born & raised and I am so passionate about the field of Early Childhood Education! I will prioritize ensuring licensing requirements are met in compliance with Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA) and the Ministry of Education. I am excited to plan and oversee all aspects of the preschool and ensure a smooth operation!

I am a Georgian College graduate and I am now taking the part-time Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Studies program with the University of Guelph-Humber. I was born and raised in Muskoka and love everything that Muskoka has to offer. As an educator, I strive to create a positive, loving, and creative environment. I am excited to be a part of the MLP team!

Hi, my name is Lindsay and I am an assistant teacher in the preschool classroom! I am a full-time student at Georgian College for Social Services and a Law Clerk graduate of Fanshawe College. I spend my spare time finding adventures with the people I love and my puppy! I have recently moved back home to Muskoka and I am so excited to start my journey at Muskoka Lakes Preschool. I am passionate towards creating a safe, happy, and creative environment for each and every child.

Hello, my name is Nicole, and I am a Program Coordinator for the after school program here at Muskoka Lakes preschool! I have spent my previous working years as a caregiver and advocate to animals in need, opening my own small animal rescue/feral cat program in the summer of 2016. I have since organized numerous charity events and fundraisers in my community. I have a great love for learning, creativity, adventure, and the outdoors, so working with children seemed like a perfect next step for me! I look forward to my future in working with all the children in the MLP after school program!
